Invitation to the conference
Society for Earth cordially invites you to the conference summarizing the implementation of the project "Protecting Wiśliska" and "Nature again with (d) wage," which will be held from 18-20 October 2016. The subject of the first conference (What next for the conservation and domestication of the Vistula River?) Refers on the one hand to the ongoing efforts of the tourist and recreational use of the Vistula River valley, and on the other to the government's plans to improve the navigability of the Vistula River and construction of the Silesian Canal.
The second conference will be devoted to the theme of which is controversial in many communes - exploitation of mineral resources. Zator The experience of shows that investment activity in this area can be reconciled with the expectations of citizens and the requirements of environmental protection and the grounds voids may become attractive places for recreation and habitat of rare species for which you create refuges Natura 2000. On the other hand, the wrong way of exploitation of and recultivation creates a black image of this industry.
The third day will be a study visit to the Valley of the Carp:
- Tour of the ornithologist complexes around the carp ponds,
- Rafting lighter on the Vistula combined with a tasting of local products Carp Valley.
